About
This blog and all materials, links and literature excerpts therein are for educational purposes only. This blog is devoted to the various forms of literature and to the encouragement and appreciation of the written and oral traditions of tale-passing. Hover your mouse over a link and a short description of what the link is/contains will appear in a box below, with listings of languages other than English if it uses them. If or when links become broken I would greatly appreciate it if you would leave a comment on this page below so that I may update, find a replacement or delete the broken links. Religion, its myths and the multiple cultures that help produce it are also listed so to help with back round information that may be found sprinkled throughout any literature you may read. Such works are also excellent examples of the tenacity of oral history and the written word in their own right. Some library archives of essays, articles and poetry links in the ‘I Am Large; I Contain Multitudes’ listing ~also~ contain extensive pieces to many, many religious and faith-based works not listed in the ‘Religion, Mythology, Cultural and Medieval Stuff’, such as Bartleby, Project Gutenburg, NorthVegr, Sacred Texts and the Medieval and Classical Library, to name a few listed here. Multiple Religious faiths, myths and tales are located in their depths; if I were to create a list locating each individually it would span too many pages when only one link is needed for the bulk of information accessed.
Well, onward, ho! In the ‘New Learners Language’ links section the languages will be grouped together. All New Learners Language Sites also (besides the name of the language located in the title) have symbol located at the beginning for ease of location, Ex; Spanish Learners sites have a * at the beginning while the language learned on site is also shown in its individual box when your mouse hovers over an individual link.
